Music24’s Singing Café in Luton meets every Tuesday morning and is open to anyone who is looking for a way get out the house and have more social connections, especially older individuals or those who may be struggling to recover from a health problem and who may be at greater of risk of becoming isolated. Our trained facilitators are also able to support individuals with dementia, Parkinson's Disease, or who have had a stroke.

Our sessions last for 90 minutes with a break for refreshments and follow a standard structure:

• an initial period for chatting with tea/coffee
  
• a gentle physical and vocal warm up
  
• singing songs that have been chosen by the participants
  
• tea/coffee and cake break
  
• dancing to familiar songs.
  

Our sessions are run by two facilitators and supported by volunteers from the local community. We also encourage carers to stay and take part as well.
