A nappy kit host will have one or two nappy kits. There are two kit types: newborn or birth-to-potty. The volunteer will have the kit at their home while it isn't being used. When someone wants the kit the Nappy Library kit coordinator will let them know and they will arrange for the person to collect the kit from them. The volunteer will be trained on the kit contents, so that they can talk through the kit with the person hiring it. Once the hire period is finished, they will receive the kit back and wash it, ready for the next hire. Prior knowledge/experience of reusable/cloth nappies is preferable but not essential.
